It may be in the Fall that the Old falls and dies away
But it is only in spring that it is washed away
By the rains and flowing rivers
Or composted
Into the
Earth
Letting Go is a process. Sometimes it is instant sometimes it occurs over time.
It often involves the mental realization of the change that is needed, preparation and shifting (Fall), then rest and contemplation…honouring the old and dreaming of the new (Winter) and finally the release and the growth of the new (Spring).
Nature doesn’t rush it.
She does it in Her own time.
This is the lesson of March and April in Canada!
